Rainbow Moonstone Earrings in Copper

I have wrapped these lovely Rainbow Moonstone cabochons (Moonstone Gems) in my fantasy inspired “Elwyn” design. Elwyn means friend of the fairies in Old English.
They are wrapped in solid Copper wire and I have antiqued the copper and polished them to a rich finish. They are hanging on simple antique copper coloured fishhook ear wires.

It is the habit of copper to tarnish over time and further tarnish is a possibility. This tarnish is easily removed with a dry polishing cloth.
A Pro polishing pad will be included with these earrings. 

These earrings hang approximately 2.3 inches from the top of the fish hook to the base of the earring.

They will come in a velvet pouch gift boxed on a black flocked earring card with rubber backings.
Ready to give or to keep as a special gift to yourself.

To keep your piece in optimal shape please remove your jewelry before showering or swimming and avoid contact with perfumes and other chemicals.
Store in a cool, dry, dark place.

*Please note:  Rainbow Moonstone is also known as white labradorite from the feldspar family and is naturally white in colour.

(Not to be mistaken with Moonstone from the orthoclase family.)
When light is shone on the stone in a particular direction you will see a flash of colour across the surface of the stone. This is called Schiller effect in which microscopic inclusions within will refract and reflect light.
