Amethyst Heart Pendant (Thunder Bay, Ontario Amethyst Cluster) in Copper

This particular Thunder Bay Amethyst crystal cluster is a unique reddish purple due to the iron content in this variety of Quartz. 
I hand collected the material myself over the course of two visits to the Blue Points Amethyst mines a few years back. 
I have cleaned up the edges and back to make the crystal wrap comfortable and it is cut in a subtle heart shape. 

I have hand cut and wrapped this beautiful heart piece in bare copper wire and 

I have antiqued the copper and hand polished it to give it a nice rich finish. 
It is the habit of copper to oxidize over time and further tarnish is a possibility, it can easily be removed with a dry polishing cloth. A small polishing pad will be included with this piece.

This pendant measures 1.9 inches from base to bail and 1.3 inch at its widest width.

This pendant will come on an 18” antiqued copper bead chain in a velvet pouch and gift boxed.
