Rhodochrosite Pendant in Copper

This is a hand crafted Rhodochrosite Amulet adorned with a smaller rainbow moonstone accent.

Rhodochrosite is a deep raspberry pink stone, it is often referred to as the stone of the compassionate heart.
Rhodochrosite strongly relates to the heart chakra and healing of all matters of the heart. Whether it be healing the self or relations with others. Rhodochrosite is also useful in helping to heal wounds and traumas of the heart from childhood. This stone promotes self love as well as love for others.

This is a hand cut and polished piece of old stock Rhodochrosite from Argentina. The particular mine where it is from closed down in 1984 and this material is not easy to come by. The coloration and cutting quality is unparalleled by any other Rhodochrosite that I have seen thus far.

I have hand cut and wrapped this beautiful Rhodochrosite Cabochon in bare Copper wire. I have then added a patina and hand polished this piece to achieve its rich finish.

It is the habit of copper to tarnish over time and further tarnish is a possibility. It is however easily removed with a dry polishing cloth. A small polishing pad will be included with this pendant.

This Pendant measures approximately 2.6 inches from top to bottom and 1.2 inches at its widest width.

This piece will come on a 20” antique copper chain with a shepherd hook closure. It will come in a black velvet pouch in a gift box. 

To keep your piece looking shiny and new please remove your jewelry before showering or swimming and avoid contact with perfumes and other chemicals.
